Your sovereignty is the foundation of our ecosystem. This document is not a traditional privacy policy; it is a Sovereign Privacy Mandate. It explains the architecture of privacy that is built into the Balnce Services and clarifies the very limited role that Balnce AI (the company) plays in relation to your sovereign data.
This Mandate is designed to be clear and unambiguous. Your trust is not an asset we seek to capture; it is a principle we are sworn to uphold through verifiable technology.
To understand your privacy, you must first understand the architecture. Balnce is fundamentally different from centralized web services.
(a) Your Sovereign Core Node & Your Data: The software we provide (collectively the "Imagination Engine") allows you to run a Core Node on hardware you control (your personal computer, an "AI Box", a mobile device, or a cloud server you rent). This Core Node is the heart of your Personal Agentic Network ("PAN"). It is where your personal data, your creative works, your AI models, and your complete digital memory - your Sovereign Temporal Memory ("STM") Fabric - resides. We, Balnce AI, do not have access to the data, keys, or identity stored on your sovereign Core Node. It is, by design, architecturally impossible for us to access it.
(b) Data Sharing is Sovereign & Federated: You are in absolute control of how your data is shared. The Balnce Services are designed for a federated Web0 network. This means you can choose to collaborate and share specific data with other users or services. This sharing is always:
(c) Customer Data (Business Agentic Networks - BANs): This Privacy Mandate applies to your use of the Balnce Services as an individual. If you are using Balnce as an employee or member of an organization (a "BAN"), your data is subject to the policies and agreements of that organization, which operates its own sovereign Core Node(s).
While your core data is sovereign, we process a very limited set of information necessary to maintain our relationship with you and provide essential services.
(a) Operational Data You Provide: Account & Contact Information, Support & Other Communications, and Payment Information.
(b) Automatically Collected Service Usage Information: Log & Analytics Data from our official websites and centralized services. This does not apply to the private activity within your sovereign Core Node.
(c) Third-Party Integrations You Initiate: When you authorize a connection to a third-party service, the information shared is governed by your explicit consent and the privacy policy of that third party.
We use the limited Operational Data we collect to Provide and Maintain Our Services, to Improve Our Software using aggregated and anonymized data, to Communicate With You, to Protect Our Services, and to Comply with Legal Obligations. This process never involves access to the content of your sovereign Memory-STM Fabric.
We do not EVER sell your personal information. We may share limited Operational Data with Service Providers, during Business Transactions, or for Legal Requirements.
The Balnce architecture is designed to make exercising these rights a native function of the system, including the Right to Access & Portability, the Right to Correct, the Right to Delete, and the Right to Restrict & Object.
Your sovereign data resides on the hardware you choose, in the jurisdiction you choose. When you interact with peers in other countries, your data will naturally transit across borders, protected by strong, end-to-end encryption.
You control the retention of your sovereign data in your STM Fabric. We retain limited Operational Data for as long as necessary to provide our services.
We may update this Mandate. We will post the new version and notify you. Your continued use of our software after a change constitutes your agreement.
The Balnce Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
